Por isso, a promo\u00e7\u00e3o da diversidade da microbiota intestinal por meio da alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 de extrema import\u00e2ncia.<\/p><p>As dietas veganas\/vegetarianas s\u00e3o ricas em produtos de fermenta\u00e7\u00e3o de fibras diet\u00e9ticas e outros carboidratos que produzem \u00e1cidos graxos de cadeia curta (AGCCs). Os AGCCs t\u00eam efeitos anti-inflamat\u00f3rios, estimulam a gera\u00e7\u00e3o das c\u00e9lulas intestinais e est\u00e3o associados \u00e0 regula\u00e7\u00e3o positiva da permeabilidade intestinal (SIDHU et al., 2023).<\/p><p>Os n\u00edveis fecais desses metab\u00f3litos est\u00e3o fortemente associados \u00e0 ingest\u00e3o de frutas, vegetais e leguminosas. Curiosamente, uma dieta rica em frutas, legumes e vegetais, ou seja, a dieta <em>plant-based<\/em>, foi associada a um aumento de AGCCs e uma correla\u00e7\u00e3o negativa com citocinas pr\u00f3-inflamat\u00f3rias, em pesquisa conduzida por <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/36986240\/\">Sidhu et al.
